Today marks a historic day for our nation and for couples like Brandi & Caitlin. Today’s SCOTUS ruling declares that state prohibitions on same-sex marriages violate the Constitution. Up until today, St. Louis County was the only county in Missouri (I think) issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples, and Brandie and Caitlin were one of them. I photographed their ceremony back on April 1 and it’s in been in my queue waiting for me to blog, so what better day than today to share these images with all of you!!! Please join me in celebrating these two and the thousands of other same-sex couples and their families, friends and allies who’ve waited ever so patiently for this day of recognition and equality.
