Final payment is due two weeks prior to the wedding. You may also pay a portion or all of your balance in advance of that. I also offer monthly payment plans with special terms for anyone who might need an extension for payment.

I established Rebecca Allen Photography LLC in 2010 and have photographed over 100 weddings in addition to proposals, engagement sessions, rehearsal dinners, and other wedding related events. I have experience photographing weddings in a variety of geographic locations, venue settings, and weather and lighting conditions.

Well... that depends. I never promise a set amount of photos. Every event is different and the resulting number of images will vary because of that. I believe in quality over quantity, but you're still going to get plenty of images!! That said, an 8-hour day with two photographers typically yields 900-1300 images. Coverage by one photographer or less than 8 hours typically yields 700-1000 images. But again, I make no promises ;)

YES! Most of my work is moment-driven but I do set aside time during each wedding to photograph simple, classic group shots of the most important people in your life.

YES! I shoot with two professional Nikon camera bodies and a variety of prime and zoom lenses, but I also bring a third backup body and extra lenses to each wedding in case of equipment failure. I carry General Liability Insurance through Lockton Affinity.

I tend to document most weddings on my own, but I will usually recommend a second photographer in the following cases:

- for larger weddings (125+ guests), to allow for more photography of your guests
- for weddings with no "First Look" and the majority of portraits post-ceremony
- when the couple and their wedding parties are getting ready at separate locations; or at the same time and you want photos of both
- weddings where the ceremony & reception are in different locations
- if you want cocktail hour coverage during post-ceremony portraits

Yes! Most of my work is here in mid-Missouri, but I've also photographed weddings in Oklahoma, New Jersey and Norway!!! In June of 2020 I'm heading to Jamaica and then back to NJ again in the fall! I'd love to add your destination to my calendar!! Travel rates cover transportation, lodging and food. Please inquire for a specific quote!

It depends! Please inquire if you are having a smaller weekday wedding. I don't generally discount for off-season weddings, but last minute weddings might get a discount for filling a date on my calendar I that previously would not have booked.

4-8 weeks depending on the season. Could be less than four weeks!! Rarely more than 8 :)

YES, please feed me and your second photographer (if applicable). It's not in the contract, but it is a common courtesy to feed your photographer(s). Please be aware that in most cases we're working a full day and even though we bring snacks and water, we need to eat a proper meal just like everyone else. A full photographer is a happy photographer and we will be able to make better photos when we are fed. It's also important that we eat at the same time as the wedding couple. You are least photogenic when eating so that is the best time for us to eat, too. Then we will be ready to continue photographing when you are finished!

I only use a shot list for formal group photos (which really aren't formal at all, but rather relaxed, quick and easy). The rest of the day is documented in a photojournalistic fashion with emphasis on capturing naturally occurring moments and found details. Working with a shot list of specific poses or fabricated "moments" doesn't align with my photojournalistic approach and would yield in photos that are more staged and not representative of the work you see on my site.
